Soccer: Pioli extends contract with AC Milan to 2023


Stefano Pioli on Friday extended his contract as AC Milan boss to 2023, the Rossoneri said.
His existing contract was due to expire next year.
Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis said “Pioli is perfect to represent Milan”.
Pioli said Milan was “ambitious and I hope we will live many emotions”.
Milan are second in Serie A on goal difference from Napoli with both clubs on 32 points from 13 games with Inter Milan in third place on 28.
The Rossoneri kept their Champions League hopes alive by beating Atletico Madrid 1-0 at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday.
