Yellow Fever Outbreak in Ethiopia Kills Four, Ministry Says

An outbreak of yellow fever in Ethiopia has killed four people and 86 cases have been reported, adding pressure to a health care system already stretchered by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The outbreak that began on March 3 in the SNNP region has been “contained,” the Ministry of Health said in a statement. The last case was reported on March 29 and more than 27,000 people have been vaccinated, it said.
