The African Union Election Observation Mission (AUEOM) held press briefing on the already concluded 2021 Ethiopian General Election.

Druing the briefing session, former president of Nigeria and head of the observation mission Olusegun Obasanjo said the Ethiopian election has been conducted in orderly, peaceful and credible manner despite some challenges related to operational, logistical, security, political and covid 19 pandemic.

The Mission said the election process was commendable in terms of international electoral laws and standards.
